How to make a click track in Logic

You have a great piece, everything is ready to go.. But you need a click track for live performance. How the heck do you get your click into an audio file? Here is one way to get a click track (an audio file of your click) in Logic Pro -
1) In your Logic project, open the Environment Window (shortcut Command+8)
2) Somewhere, you'll see the Klopfgeist instrument (Logic makes it Instrument 256 as default), and you should see it's output is going to the main output (in this case 'Stereo Out')
3) In order to record that sound to an audio track, you'll need to send it somewhere else. How about a bus? Click and hold on the output setting ('Stereo Out') and pick a bus (for our purposes we'll choose 'Bus 10')

4) If you don't already have one, create a new audio track. Instead of a normal input, choose 'Bus 10' as the input.

5) Now, arm the track for recording, and record your click! (Make sure you have your click turned on, or else you won't hear anything)
6) Now you've got an audio file of your click, following any and all time changes etc. that you have in your piece. If you want to find that file (it's in the bin) you can just use that; but to be safe you can also solo your click audio track and bounce that (that way you can be sure your click starts on the downbeat of the first bar of your project)
